Reading notes
- Fragments of Uncertain Book, with the Epigrams and Dubia §132 Cleis
Sappho's daughter — named, the ancient lives say, after Sappho's own mother. The comparison that values her above 'all Lydia' breaks off after 'lovely'; editors have supplied Lesbos, but the bare text stops.
