Dawn (Eos)
Dawn
also: Αὔως, Αὔων, Ἠώς, Eos
The dawn-goddess, βροδόπαχυς 'rosy-armed' in fr. 58, who loved the mortal Tithonus and carried him to the ends of the earth — and whose immortal mornings could not keep him young. Sappho makes her the proof that no one escapes old age.
